Monsters
I woke up late on a Saturday, like always. It was noon, and as it always is, the house was empty. Mom was out doing who knows what, my brother at his friends, me left to do nothing. My saturdays are usually like this. I ate a somewhat lunch, then went outside to the back. It was a cool day. So I went for a walk in the woods. That was one of my favorite things to do, because in the woods, I could be anything I wanted. It was my own little world. It may have been just me, but I felt like the animals came toward me, instead of scurrying away. I leaned down to stroke a rabbit, and heard a loud thump to my right. It shoko the ground, and leaves fell from the trees. Then there was another. And another. Until a figure finally came into view. It was about 6 foot. It had big googley eyes that looked fake. He was covered in light brown fur that looked like clouds from head to toe. He had two baby horns growing from his head. Fangs popped out of his mouth. I shoould've been scared. I should've screamed or ran. But I didn't. I went right up and pet him. He picked me up, and I knew I met my not so average best friend.

Robbed
We went to the zoo today, my family and I. Me, mom, and Andrew all rode the train countless times. I didn't want to leave. Ever. We arrived home, later that night. The outside looked normal. But the minute we stepped inside, everything was gone. The T.V., the Xbox, even the furniture. There was a shiny dot in the middle of my now bare room. And when I picked it up, I immediatley knew my dad was responsible. He's been trying to get my mom back for years. Ever since she cleaned out his bank account, they've been enemies. As I held the necklace a couple inches from my eyes, it became blurry. Then I felt something slide down my cheek. And before I knew it, I was sitting on my floor, clutching the necklace so tight my knuckles turned white, crying. Who knows how long I sat there. I eventually fell asleep. Not for long though. When I woke up, the house was empty. No one was home. Figures. It was just like my family to avoid this.

Cupid
Cupid didn't know what would happen. He's never hit the wrong person. He sat, day and night, worrying and thinking about all the things that could happen. Sometimes, the thoughts were small, such as thinking that maybe they'll just fight more than normal. Other times, his thoughts were much worse, as if this would cause an unbalance to all worlds love. Would it cause more war? Could it make the days longer? Shorter? It was only a matter of time before the arrow kicked in and they fell in love, and Cupids answers would soon be answered. He would pace the halls at night, remembering they're faces as he struck them. Both people having confused looks, but a distant look in there eyes. He couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep. One night, he finally got a blink of sleep. Whenever he awoke, he raced to the two victims apartments. Oddly enough, they were both there, happily eating. This might not be to bad, he thought to himself.

My Bunny
I don't really like my bunny. She's really annoying and smells. I had her in our spare bedroom, but felt bad so I moved her in my room so I can't ignore her. She bites you and scratched you whenever you don't give her attention. I won't let her on my bed, but she insists on being there. She likes lettuce, but really likes grapes. But I never give her any. It takes to much time. She's so soft though! Like, really fluffy. She's a lionhead bunny. So her ears look like cat ears. She's all white, except her ears which are black. And her nose. She also had black spots going down her back to her tail. My small cat always tries to attack her. She thinks shes playing, but my bunny, Cracker, always gets really mad and thumps her hind legs.

Tape Measure Story
The measuring tape was a big thing in our family. It haunted us, or at least me. It reminded me of my dad, when he used to be around. Those are the days I miss more than anything. He used to build alot of things. Bookshelves and stuff. And he used the same tape measure everytime. That was before the fighting started. The late nights out began soon after them. Eventually, he just stopped showing up at all. The measuring tape's on my dresser, right next to my bed. It may seem weird that I keep it by me. It makes me feel close to him, even when he could be miles away. My moms tried to convince me to throw it away. She'd always tell me it'll help me move on. I'd always come back and say something about her not being able to move on either. That would always result to a fight. Sometimes my brother got involved. But he was pretty good with staying out of things that go on about the house. He stays when he has too. But, most nights his room is empty. The house haunts him more than any of us.
